Trevor Noah, stand-up comedian and host of The Daily Show, bought a mansion in Bel Air just two years ago. Now, he’s selling it! Take a look inside before the new owners move in…
Mystery Mansion
Just two years ago, Noah picked up this mansion for $20.5 million. While the Daily Show host did not give a reason for giving up the house, it surely was not for lack of space. The 10,000-square-foot mansion sits at the end of a cul-de-sac in one of the most glamorous locations in all the world: Beverly Hills. However, it’s actually located in a part of Beverly Hills more known for housing wealthy lawyers and tech CEOs than famous celebrities. Hey, maybe that’s why Noah’s moving!
From the outside, the 1.3-acre lot and accompanying house do not look like much. That’s because they are hidden behind walls and quite a large amount of trees. However, as you can see from the photo above, once the mansion opens up in the back, it really opens up! Believe it or not, this house is so high up it even has an ocean view! As for the backyard – it has a green lawn with fresh grass along with a large 62-foot pool. Step inside the house and things only become more luxurious…
Trevor Noah: Real Estate Celeb
The large mansion has quite an odd design, which you might have spotted in the previous photo. The home is actually quite long, instead of wide or square, creating long narrow hallways that wind through the house. Still, outside of this odd feature, the house has everything a megastar could desire! First of all, this Bel Air mansion is perfect for experienced cooks – the enormous kitchen with two islands has a list of appliances. The owner can cook all kinds of dishes there! Secondly, there’s a full home theater, which is perfect for the current COVID-19 lockdown. And that’s not everything! Noah’s mansion also comes complete with a 500-gallon saltwater aquarium and cigar room.
The master suite upstairs is massive – 2,200 square feet – and includes two bathrooms in beautiful marble, two closets for every outfit imaginable, and a patio to relax on. Meanwhile, the whole house feels like a treehouse, thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows that let in amazing views of the surrounding valley and coastline.
So why did Noah leave the house? Well, it could be because it’s just a bit too big for him. After all, he currently lives in a $10.2 million Midtown Manhattan penthouse, which fans can see in the current episodes of the Daily Show. Meanwhile, Noah also made nearly $2 million on the deal, so maybe he sold the palace for the cash!
