It seems in his move from New England to Tampa Bay, iconic six-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady will pick up a new ride. So, if you’ve got an extra $300,000 lying around, you can pick up his Becker Cadillac Escalade ESV!
Leaving His Past Behind
As any NFL fan can tell you, Brady announced that he was leaving the New England Patriots in March. It seems he’s leaving it all behind, including his beloved customized vehicle. Believe it or not, Brady picked up the car in 2018 for just $95,000, quickly wanting even more comfort. So, he customized it for another $250,000! Becker Automotive Design, the service that customized the car, has previously worked with other celebrities like Michael Jackson and Dr. Dre. Now, Brady is listing his beloved vehicle for a bit less than he initially spent – just $300,000.
For the sale page, Brady commented that “parting ways with my Becker [Cadillac Escalade] ESV won’t be easy.” Still, he could not have loved it too much, as the Cadillac has just 13,000 miles on it. Brady didn’t plan on driving it as much as using it as a personal office. “With such limited time in my busy schedule, the ESV gave me those extra minutes to study my playbook, make phone calls and be with my family,” he said. “Immediately, my productivity went up, and my stress came down.”
What’s Inside?
A look inside Brady’s car will amaze even the most spoiled Cadillac lover. First of all, it’s a lot bigger than the standard model. Brady asked to raise his Becker Cadillac Escalade ESV’s height by 5 inches, and it’s length by 20 inches. Then, the 6″ 4′-player customized the seats, adding in Italian leather and electronic leg rests. Meanwhile, Brady also rearranged the six chairs, having them face each other, like an office or living room.
The ESV also includes two substantial aviation-style tables that fold down to create more open space. Anyone can use the internet inside, as there’s a mobile internet router, compatible with all major services. “From day one, it became my sanctuary from the outside noise. I took pride in picking out all the customizations of the ESV; from the trim of the seats to the color of the rug,” Brady stated. “I hope the next owner will take great care of her; she will always be a part of the Brady family.”
After leaving New England Patriots in his successful career, Brady signed a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for two years, which will get him up to $50 million. So, he’ll absolutely be able to afford another massive Cadillac in Florida.
