While actress Demi Moore has done a few campaigns for clothing companies like Ann Taylor, she’s never walked a runway. Until now! And when she debuted at Paris Fashion Week, Moore showed off a new look that divided fans…
The Brand-New Demi Moore
After a few minor modeling gigs, 58-year-old actress Demi Moore has finally walked the runway! She took part in Fendi’s show a the Paris Fashion Week, rocking an off-the-shoulder blue satin suit with a deep V-line neck. Fendi matched the suit with incredibly wild earrings that lead the eyes straights down to the satin outfit.
However, even more surprising than the outfit was Moore’s new look. And the internet can’t decide if it’s just weight loss and excellent aging, or if some work has been done. Many loved the look. I thought Demi looked lovely,” one fan stated on Twitter. “The Kim Jones collection was not over the top. Looks comfortable but elegant.” Many others pointed out how much the mother looks like her daughter, actress Rumer Willis.
Meanwhile, others felt that it looked just a little too much like Moore had gone under the knife. “Demi Moore appears in Paris looking nothing like Demi Moore,” one Twitter user wrote. “Oh Demi, you really didn’t have to go and have stuff done to your face,” another fan stated. But Moore doesn’t seem to listen much to detractors!
Fulfilling A Teenage Dream
While Moore doesn’t plan on becoming a full-time model just yet, she loved walking the catwalk. In fact, she said it fulfilled a lifelong dream! “Fulfilling a teenage dream… Thank you @mrkimjones for having me open the @Fendi SS21 show and congratulations on a beautiful and magical debut!” Moore wrote on Instagram.
On the other hand, Fendi took to Instagram to explain the design ideas behind their inventive, and expensive, clothing. “The show navigates a unique journey from the British Bloomsbury to Rome’s Galleria Borghese,” the brand said in a post. “‘Clothes have, they say, more important offices than to merely keep us warm. They change our view of the world and the world’s view of us.’ – Virginia Woolf, Orlando.”
As you might imagine, Fendi’s show had plenty of other incredible celebrities as models, including the iconic Kate Moss and her 18-year-old daughter Lila Grace. Their outfits were just as outstanding as Moore’s, creating a significant buzz before and after the show! “I’m honoured to have been a part of the story ~ a huge thank you to all the incredibly talented people involved,” Grace said in an Instagram post. “I feel so lucky to have worked with you. This felt like a dream, thank you for such a special moment.”
Other models in the show included Bella Hadid, Cara Delevingne, and Naomi Campbell. Talk about a lineup!
